One of the leading UK brands are looking to create a world leading innovative platform that provides global leading connected solutions. You will be working on operating and enhancing their Kubernetes platform and cloud infrastructure within the lab, ensuring its smooth ongoing operation to meet defined service levels.

Utilising their existing open-source cloud platform, you will work with product squads to provide required platform services. Also responsible for leading automation, building tools for the lab and reduction of manual toil across all products.

You will form part of a collaborative, iterative and agile process in a multi-disciplined team helping deliver best in class digital solutions. This role provides a unique opportunity to help support and grow an entirely new software engineering and DevOps capability.

Experience wise you will have some of the following:

• Hands-on practical experience (4 years +) as  DevOps engineer or Site relability Engineer.
• Knowledge of Unix OS
• Recent experience in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
• Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Python).
• Comprehensive knowledge and involvement (4 years +) of at least one major cloud provider (GCP, AWS, Azure)
