Job description

Nixor are currently hiring for a C# Developer for a leading fintech software house who are currently  6 months into building a brand new payments product that removes the barriers to supplier payment issues allowing larger companies to pay smaller suppliers more quickly and effectively, whilst also removing a host of transitional costs such as a reduction in international payment transactions as well as improved digital payments methods to move with an ever changing market.

The current team have built the 1st phase of the product and now they are looking to build a UK team to build out the next few phases as it has already been sold to a number of their clients from their core procurement software business.

The product itself is aimed at huge global clients and reduces costs, so this initial product and future products will need to be built on a global scale, with interactions with potentially thousands of suppliers of these global enterprises.

Joining this team on this product provides a unique opportunity with the timing as the company are a 400 person software house who traditionally work within the financial / procurement arena with a host of global clients.

However this product provides an opportunity to build a Payments Fintech business and suite of future products without being encumbered by the existing development practices or old technology and code base. Essentially it is an opportunity to build a Fintech business from scratch, but with the backing of a £100m turnover software house’s backing.

Tech stack wise they are building on C#, .Net Core & React, with Azure SQL & Azure DevOps for the CI/CD pipelines. However, the CTO is looking for someone who has a strong Full stack C# background and wants to learn .Net Core, Azure and how to build robust scalable DevOps processes.

This is a great opportunity to "update" your technical skills within a "proper" software house environment.
